On February 12th, 2014, NIST released the awaited Cybersecurity Framework as required by Executive Order 13636.

 

This optional (for now) framework can be used by critical infrastructure industries, and commercial organizations alike, to build and strengthen their Cybersecurity prevention, detection, response, and improvement capabilities.
